Why should I choose Forgotten Times for my next vacation?
The Forgotten Times retreat will provide a relaxing environment along with a variety of entertainment options on the property. You can relax in the jacuzzi tub, curl up with a movie or relax with your morning coffee on any of the two decks or two walk-out patios. The rec room provides a pool table, fireplace, multiple TV s connected to a DVD player and a full kitchen. There is WI-FI wireless Internet throughout the house for your laptop. If you want to venture out, there are many attractions in Siren and the surrounding lake country to enjoy any time of year, see links.

What are my rental options?
The main level is available for rental for the day for special events. This level has all of the entertainment options described above, plus a full bathroom, and full kitchen. You will have two walk-out patios and gas fireplace in the lounging area. It is fully handicapped accessible. See pricing page.
The entire retreat house is available for daily rent, weekends or by the week. The retreat can accommodate up to twelve guests.

What if I am a crafter? You can enjoy the same pleasures on your vacation that our scrapbook retreaters have, see craft room page. For an extra cost, see pricing, all of our crafting tools, ideas books and a computer, printer and scanner will be made available. You must rent the rec room level or the entire retreat to get this option.

What else is there to do? Siren and the surrounding lake country provides an ample amount of attractions and recreation options. The Gandy Dancer Trail, located just ? mile down the road, accommodates biking, ATVs and snowmobiles. Crex Meadows Nature Preserve is nearby for birdwatchers. The surrounding St. Croix Valley provides endless possibilities for recreation. Please see links page for area attractions list.

What are the sleeping accommodations?There are two bedrooms on the main rec room level with two twin beds and a king size bed. There are three bedrooms on the second level, which includes one king size bed, six twin beds and a sofa sleeper. All linens, bedding and towels are provided. top of page
What is provided with my vacation stay? All linens, blankets and towels are provided. Dish soap rags and dish towels, a basic set of condiments, spices and cooking oil is in the upstairs kitchen.
Is the retreat handicapped accessible?
Yes, the main level has no steps of any kind. There is one bedroom that sleeps two people located on the main level, as well as a bathroom and kitchen. Handicapped or elderly guests should have no problems.

What about smoking and pets?
The inside of the retreat is smoke free. When multiple groups are using the retreat, also please refrain from using the patios and decks if nonsmokers are present. Smoking receptacles are provided outside the main door. Sorry, no pets of any kind are allowed in the retreat or on the property
